Colors in Filipino

I stumbled upon this post while checking my Facebook notifications.

Rarely do Filipinos use native words to talk about colors, apart from the very common ones like itim, puti, dilaw, asul or pula. Some like kalimbahin or mabaya I have, quite honestly, never heard of.
